What is HomeCare?
The Manning Community HomeCare staff provides professional health care at home
as a reasonable and effective link in restoring, maintaining, and promoting your
health in the private and comfortable surroundings of your own residence.
Your Manning Community
HomeCare nurse will coordinate your care with you and your family as part of a
team, along with your doctor and other health service providers, working to
achieve the highest level of health and independence for you.
As part of the Manning
Regional Healthcare Center team, we offer continuity of care and familiar faces.
Our nurses will visit with you about available services before you leave the
hospital. Should you need hospitalization in a larger city, we will work with
that hospital and your doctor to provide you with uninterrupted care when you
get home.
Interventions by our
HomeCare team can shorten or prevent hospitalization and forestall the need for
nursing home care.
Our office hours are 8:00
a.m. - 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday. A Registered Nurse is available 24 hours
a day, seven days a week, including holidays, for after-hour inquiries and
nursing visits.
