Services available
The Manning Community
HomeCare services, part of Manning Regional Healthcare Center, are
Medicare/Medicaid certified. If a patient meets eligibility requirements,
reimbursement for services can be arranged through:

Private Pay – Arrangements for private pay can be made
through the business office at Manning Regional Healthcare Center.

your needs we will refer you to the appropriate contacts. All information
received, and care given will be held in strict confidence.
Manning Community HomeCare
services available include: skilled nursing, homecare aide, physical therapy,
occupational therapy, and speech therapy. Descriptions of each service are
listed below.
Intermittent Skilled
Nursing By RN's:

Management and assessment of unstable medical conditions

Post surgical care and assessment
-
Wound care and assessment
-
Prenatal and postpartum assessments and teaching for
mothers and newborns

Patient/family teaching
-
Medication injections
-
Intravenous infusions of antibiotics, chemotherapy,
hydration & total parenteral nutrition
-
Skilled physical care and emotional support for patients
with a terminal illness and their families
Homecare
Aide:
-
Bathing and personal care
-
Assistance with activities of daily living
-
Assistance with therapeutic exercise
Physical Therapy:
-
Improve/restore strength, range of motion, and activity
level after surgery, stroke, or other conditions affecting mobility and
endurance.

Pain relief

Patient/family exercise instruction
Occupational Therapy:
-
Works to restore, develop and maintain the ability to
perform tasks necessary for self care, job performance and leisure
activities.

Facilitates use of splints and adaptive equipment
Speech Therapy:

Provides help for patients with speech or swallowing
difficulties.
