and Birthing Suites
Manning
General Hospital offers private birthing suites that are
designed to accommodate all the needs of expectant mothers
and fathers as well as the new baby. The suites are
equipped to allow labor, delivery, recovery, and post partum
care all in the same location. The suites are furnished
with a sleeper recliner, rocker, table and chairs, armoire,
and TV with VCR. There is also a private bathroom with
shower and many stocked items needed to care for a new
baby. In addition, the proud parents receive a gift package
that includes photos of their newborn, a certificate to
enjoy dinner out, and more, all courtesy of Manning General
Hospital.
Patients
will feel comfortable knowing that the medical and nursing
staff is highly trained. The nurses are staffed 24 hours a
day, 7 days a week and are Neonatal Resuscitation (NRP)
certified. The hospital is also capable of performing a
cesarean section when needed.
