2nd ANNUAL COMEDY CLUB NIGHT – MARCH 11
West Central Iowa Healthcare Foundation
is gearing up for the second annual Comedy Club Night. This
event filled night will be held March 11 at Dedham American
Legion Hall. Doors will open at 7 P.M. and the show begins
at 8 P.M.
The night will feature two comedians,
headliner Rik Roberts and opener Ercell Watson from the
Funny Bone in Omaha. Rik, originally from Nashville, TN,
and combines stand-up with music for a show filled with
good, clean fun. Rik has shared the stage with Steven
Wright, Bobcat Goldthwaite, Rita Rudner, Emo Phillips,
Victoria Jackson, Jim Breuer, and many other top name
comedians. Rik also tours the country as a headliner for
comedy clubs including Improv, Funny Bone, Comedy Zone, and
Zanies.
Everyone attending will have the
opportunity to bid on a variety of sports paraphernalia.
Items included are an autographed photo of Minnesota Vikings
QB Daunte Culpepper, an autographed photo of Chicago Cubs
pitcher Greg Maddux, a football signed by the 2005 Green Bay
Packers, an autographed baseball by Chicago Whitesox pitcher
Cliff Politte, and much more is expected.
“This year all funds raised will go
towards the efforts to recruit another physician to West
Central Iowa,” stated Malia Bisdorf, Project Coordinator of
West Central Iowa Healthcare Foundation. “This event will
not only provide support towards those efforts but provide
people the opportunity to enjoy an event filled night of
hilarious entertainment.”
Tickets are just $25 and include free
snacks and the chance to win a door prize. Tickets can be
purchased at Wiley’s in Dedham, the Country Store in Coon
Rapids, or at the Foundation office in Manning. For more
