MRHC TO BE FEATURED ON NATIONAL TV
MANNING – Manning Regional Healthcare
Center (MRHC) has been selected as a feature on “Inside
Health,” an award-winning national program designed to
inform and inspire viewers to make choices for a healthy way
of life. This program, hosted by Olympic gold medalist
Peggy Fleming, airs nationally on TLC (The Learning
Channel).
The film crew will be on location in
Manning Thursday, February 23rd to shoot footage
for the MRHC segment. The film crew expects to film
approximately eight hours of footage and the finished piece
will give Manning approximately four minutes of air time.
“The show’s producers selected MRHC
because of the unique services that are provided in such a
small rural community,” said Jeanne Goche, CEO and
Administrator of MRHC. “This is an incredibly exciting
chance to showcase the MRHC facility not only to a local and
statewide audience, but also on a national level.”
MRHC is the first hospital from the
state of Iowa to be selected for a feature on this 30-minute
health program. MRHC will be among a handful of healthcare
facilities across the nation to be featured in the 30-minute
show. At this time, there is no official air date but the
program will likely air sometime in June.
