Doug visits Manning General Hospital on the 2nd and 4th
Fridays of every month from 10:00-12:00 and 1:00-3:00.
Audiology
is the measurement of hearing. Audiology aims to determine
whether someone can hear within the normal range, and if
not, which portions of hearing (high, middle, or low
frequencies) are affected. If a hearing loss is present, an
audiologist attempts to decide the cause of the problem and
proposes to the patient what options (such as hearing aids,
cochlear implants, or surgery) may help to restore function.
