Acute Nursing
Manning General Hospital has very qualified and skilled nurses to provide you with the care you deserve. Nurses are staffed 24 hours a day, 7 days a week and care for all ages. The hospital acute nursing staff offers OB services, comfort care (end-of-life), skilled nursing, cardiac monitoring, and CNC (convalescent nursing care). CNC provides special care to those patients who need nursing home care.
The hospital nursing staff is comprised of Registered Nurses (RN’s), Licensed Practical Nurses (LPN’s), respiratory therapists, and some nurse’s aids.
All acute nursing RN’s are certified in Basic Life Support, Advanced Cardiac Support, Trauma Nursing Core Curriculum (TNCC), and Neonatal Resuscitation (NRP). The LPN’s are also certified in Basic Life Support and I.V. services.
