MRHC Specialist:
Tracey Wellendorf, M.D.
Dr. Wellendorf comes to Manning General Hospital every 3rd Wednesday of the month.
Otolaryngology is the surgical specialty dealing with diseases of the ear, nose and throat.
MRHC has one specialist that comes to Manning on a regular basis and can provide the following procedures at MRHC:
- Tonsillectomy and Adenoidectomy
- Septoplasty (surgical procedure in which the nasal septum is straightened)
- Myringotomy with tubes
- Excision of skin lesions
- Endoscopic Sinus Surgery
Dr. Wellendorf earned his BS degree from Creighton University and graduated Magna Cum Laude in Chemistry. He completed medical school at the University Of Iowa College of Medicine. He is on the American Board of Otolaryngology, American Academy of Otolaryngology/Head & Neck Surgery; Iowa Academy of Otolaryngology; Iowa Medical Society; and Carroll County Medical Society. Dr. Wellendorf specializes in all areas of adult and pediatric ENT surgery and medicine.
MRHC Specialist:
Virginia Uhlenkamp, ARNP
Ginny received her BSN from Mercy College in Cedar Rapids, graduating with high honors in 1980. In 2006 she was a distinguished master’s student at Briar Cliff University. She received her MSN from Briar Cliff University in Sioux City 2007. She was certified as Family Nurse Practitioner in 2007 and since that time has been working directly with Dr. Wellendorf at Wellendorf ENT.
