Hospital Patients

Comfort Care

MRHC is proud to offer a comfort care room, made possible by donations from patients, families, and community members. This room offers the comforts of home during the difficult periods in life. It includes a refrigerator, microwave, and coffee pot for a family’s convenience. A sofa sleeper and recliner are also available for family members to use, allowing them to stay with their loved ones at MRHC.

The hospital nursing staff is comprised of Registered Nurses (RN’s), Licensed Practical Nurses (LPN’s), respiratory therapists and nurse’s aides.

All acute nursing RNs are certified in Basic Life Support, Advanced Cardiac Support, Trauma Nursing Core Curriculum (TNCC) and Neonatal Resuscitation (NRP). The LPNs are also certified in Basic Life Support and I.V. services.

Our nursing staff is knowledgeable in end-of-life care to ensure that difficult transition periods for patients and families are handled with the utmost care and respect.
