Pain Clinic

The MRHC Pain Clinic provides our patients with a thorough consultation and develops a unique treatment plan for each patient that is tailored to their needs. Services may include, but not limited to:

 

MRHC’s certified registered nurse anesthetist (CRNA) sees patients suffering from pain and illness, offering solutions to ease discomfort and irritation. Patients seen by appointment only, call (712) 655-2072.

Brian Jacobs, Pain Clinic
Pain Clinic

Brian Jacobs, ARNP, CRNA, NSPM-C from the Midwest Pain Care Clinic, is providing support to the Pain Clinic at MRHC on the first and third Wednesdays of every month.

Brian received his anesthesia training at Saint Mary's University of Minnesota and completed his fellowship in advanced pain management at Texas Christian University. He is currently a PhD student and fellow in pain and associated symptoms research at the University of Iowa. Brian also provides clinical training opportunities for pain fellows from Texas Christian University, the University of South Florida and Iowa's Premier Pain Management externship.

His clinical interests include interventional pain management and treatment of nociplastic pain disorders. His research interests include neuroimaging in pain, biomarkers in nociplastic pain disorders, and symptoms of neurogenic inflammation.
