Reed Smith, DPM, joined the specialty clinic in the summer of 2026, providing foot and ankle care for patients of all ages.
Board Qualified by the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons, Dr. Smith offers both surgical and non-surgical treatment, from routine foot care to advanced reconstructive foot and ankle surgery. He provides services in Manning on the first and third Thursdays of each month.
His expertise includes treating a wide range of foot and ankle conditions, including ankle sprains and instability, heel pain, sports injuries, fractures, Achilles tendon injuries and tendonitis, diabetic foot complications, and foot and ankle arthritis. He also performs advanced procedures, including minimally invasive surgery, arthroscopy, fracture and tendon repair, wound care, bunion and hammertoe correction, reconstructive foot and ankle surgery.
A Carroll native, Dr. Smith earned his Doctor of Podiatric Medicine degree from Des Moines University and completed his residency at AdventHealth East Orlando in Florida before returning to west central Iowa to care for patients close to home.
