Senior Life Solutions

Manning Regional Healthcare Center’s Senior Life Solutions program, an intensive outpatient group counseling program, is designed to meet the unique needs of older adults over the age of 65 struggling with depression and anxiety, often related to aging.

The Program

Following an individual assessment, participants meet three times per week in a supportive, encouraging group setting.

The program staff includes a board-certified psychiatrist, licensed social workers, a registered nurse, and other professionals dedicated to the emotional well-being of the seniors in our community.

Family members, physicians, or other health professionals can refer individuals to the program.

Our Newly Renovated Space

In March of 2021, MRHC kicked off capital campaign, Project Forward, to make much needed capital improvements. This renovation project included Senior Life Solutions. After five years of continued positive growth, it was evident that dedicated and expanded space was needed for the program. During the pandemic, services increased by 14% despite the fact that participants couldn’t meet in person due to safety precautions.

The project included creating a dedicated group therapy meeting room with state-of-the-art audio-visual capabilities that allow patients to join remotely as needed. The room is also used for Recovery Center outpatient therapy and is available to the public for use during non-business hours. Dedicated offices for the therapist and psychiatrist to meet one-on-one with patients and an office for the director were also added.
