Manning Regional Healthcare Center’s Emergency Department provides quality, emergency medical services and Avera eCARE services 24 hours a day, 7 days per week, 365 days per year. The Emergency Department is verified by the Iowa Department of Public Health, Bureau of EMS as a Community Level IV Trauma Facility, and as such we operate within those guidelines when caring for trauma patients. The hospital is a level four community trauma center and a critical access hospital. The Emergency Department is prepared for small medical emergencies to major traumas.
TRAUMA LIFE SUPPORT CERTIFIED
The Emergency Department physicians are Trauma Life Support Certified and are on call 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Our Registered Nurses are certified and experienced in the areas of Advanced Cardiac Life Support, Trauma Nursing Core Curriculum and Basic Life Support certifications. Ancillary department, i.e., laboratory and radiology are available on call.
