Med/Surg RN: Full-time - $10,000 sign-on bonus

Assumes responsibility and accountability for assigned patients. Provides professional nursing care to these patients incorporating the nursing process, the environment, technical equipment, and health care members. Provides patient care activities to patients of all ages in all care settings including the emergency room, acute care, skilled care and substance abuse care units. ED ARNP or PA - PRN

MRHC is seeking a PRN Emergency Department ARNP or PA. This position demonstrates professional, appropriate, effective and tactful written, verbal, and nonverbal communication with patient, families, medical staff, colleagues, vendors, and other departments throughout the continuum of care to promote continuity of care and services and enhance clinic image. They demonstrate positive, professional customer service in all patient, staff, and visitor contacts and utilize interpersonal skills to establish and maintain healthy interpersonal relationships with healthcare members, patients, and families.

This position acknowledges patients’ rights on confidentiality issues, maintains patient confidentiality at all times, and follows HIPAA guidelines and regulations. They participate in staff development activities and orientation as requested. This person proactively acts as patient advocate, responding to and working to resolve patient concerns. Must be CPR, ACLS, TNCC, NRP, PALS Certified and responsible for following equipment maintenance protocol, identifying problems, and coordinating appropriate repairs. This position is responsible for the operation of various office machines (i.e. fax, copier, phone, and computer). They are expected to participate effectively as a team member and follow prescribed guidelines relative to referral and transfer of individual patients.

Radiology Tech - $10,000 sign-on bonus

The radiology technologist takes pictures of the body while utilizing various imaging methods, which includes basic x-ray and computed tomography (CT). They are responsible for ensuring the patient’s safety during the course of the procedure. Technologists may be required to explain the procedure in layman terms to ensure a patient’s comfort. Most importantly, the ability to produce a high-quality image consistently is crucial, as this will help physicians to correctly provide diagnoses. This person performs other daily duties of the radiology department as directed and provides on-call coverage for radiology. This position is offering a $10,000 sign-on bonus.

 
Educational Experience Requirements
  • Associate degree from radiologic technician program required
  • ARRT certified with permit to practice in Iowa
  • CT experience preferred 
  • Radiology experience preferred

Non-Clinical

Patient Financial Services Coordinator

The Patient Financial Services Coordinator (PFS Coordinator) provides coordination of patient financial responsibilities at Manning Regional Healthcare Center (MRHC). This includes but is not limited to helping patients understand their bills and designated patient responsibilities on their EOBs, providing patients financial counseling regarding their balances at MRHC, contacting patients regarding their out-of-pocket balances, setting up payment plans, receiving payments, initiating contact with patients regarding financial assistance, processing financial assistance applications, and working with EO and BD vendors on patient balances.

This position will coordinate with the Revenue Cycle Director in price transparency requirements and provide estimates to patients regarding their estimated upfront patient responsibility amounts. The PFS Coordinator will also provide backup coverage for the Admissions department with scheduling and/or admitting patients for any MRHC services.

Dietary Cook/Aide

This position is responsible for the preparation and serving of palatable meals to patients/residents of Manning Regional Healthcare Center. Maintains a steady work pace to ensure timely meal delivery while honoring likes/dislikes of individual clients/patients and serving diets as ordered. Responsible for specific cleaning duties in the food service department and for maintaining high standards of food sanitation and safety. Pre-washes pots and pans and prepares special menu items as needed as well as meals for special functions throughout the hospital.
