The OB-GYN Clinic is available the second Wednesday of every month. An OB-GYN is a specialist who provides medical and surgical care to women and has expertise in pregnancy, childbirth, and disorders of the reproductive system. Services include preventive care, detection of sexually transmitted diseases, Pap test screening and family planning.

Labor and Delivery & Prenatal/Postnatal Care     

Dr. McLaws, a family practice physician at MRHC, can provide general OB care in Manning and deliver babies at St. Anthony Regional Hospital in Carroll, Iowa. MRHC has a partnership with St. Anthony and McFarland Clinic to provide a seamless pregnancy, delivery, and newborn care experience close to home.

The partnership with St. Anthony allows mothers to receive prenatal care at MRHC, deliver at St. Anthony with Dr. McLaws, and then continue to receive post-natal and newborn care in Manning following delivery. Thanks to the newly enhanced records systems, the med staff teams at both locations can easily access a patient’s chart as necessary to ensure seamless care.
