No Surprise Billing Rights

With the “No Surprises Act”, you are protected from surprise billing or balance billing when you receive emergency care or treatment by an out-of-network facility or from an out-of-network provider at an in-network hospital. Under the “No Surprises Act”, if you are self-pay or private pay, you also have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate for the reasonably expected cost of care at the time a service is scheduled.
